Decorating ESP

I'm blessed with many circus people friends and kindred spirits but the one I call my PLP ("Platonic Life Partner") unfortunately lives far away in Gainesville, Florida. Kay is an effortlessly glamorous ringer for Katharine Hepburn, whip smart and wickedly funny. She makes Old Navy jewelry look like Verdura, decorates with beachy flair and has that Capricorn knack for ruthless editing, a trait I wish would rub off on yours truly. So of course I wanted to share the fruits of my labor on this apartment and gave her a WORLD! EXCLUSIVE! with a few Bberry pics -- sorry to prolong the tease but you all will see it very soon, promise -- and after some gushing that nearly made me weep onto the keys, she revealed our true soul mate-ness:

Now to tie it all in to ME, I swear, the inspiration board I made could be plunked down right in the middle of that apartment, down to the pic of you opening a bottle of wine, cast in red. I'm taking a picture of it and sending it to you. I kept wondering how it would look as decor (as in: can this inspiration board be turned into a room?). Why yes, it can, and it's your apartment!!!

Because my entire apartment is essentially Chinese (or octopus?) red, kelly green, and pale blue with some black and white popping in to say HEY. Oh and cobalt blue, that's a paintin' term, cobalt blue (inside joke). Check out Kay's grandmother's stationery and that Il Papiro paper ... beyond chic. So since I'm too lazy to make my own inspiration board, kindly refer to hers to get inside my (our) brain after The Big Reveal. It's gonna happen!
